As part of the governance of the Co-CREATE project, both an Advisory Board and an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Board have been established.
The Advisory Board convenes experts and stakeholders external to the Co-CREATE Consortium, and represents the interdisciplinary dimensions of solar radiation modification (SRM) research as well as SRM and other climate governance. The Board will provide critical inputs on activities and outputs of the Co-CREATE project throughout its lifetime in order to maximise the relevance and potential for impact.
The EDI Board is predominantly composed of Co-Create Consortium members, along with one member of the Advisory Board. It aims to ensure that the project assumes best practices across Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion dimensions – including through the continuous review of progress against the project’s Gender and Other Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity (GEDI) plan.
While the Advisory Board will generally operate through internal consultations with the Consortium, the EDI Board seeks to pursue opportunities for stakeholder engagement on EDI-related matters as well as to share resources related to EDI matters pertinent to the field of SRM research governance.
